Rules:
1. Payment of $25 is to be submitted by Paypal, cash or cheque payable to John Mathieson, 105 Portwood rd, wpg,mb R3Y 1N2. Payment deadline will be prior to the 3rd week of the season (we tend to get people who sign up at the last minute). I have signed up for a paid webhost and domain name this year which costs $70 US a year. This cost will be covered by fees gathered (see "finances" tab on main spreadsheet for cost breakdown)
2. Participants who have played at least one year are eligible for the CFL Pool referral program. For each new person you refer to the pool, you recieve $5 off your entry fee.
3. Each week participants need to pick the winners of each weeks' games and attach a confidence value to each choice. 4 being most confident, 1 being least confident. If you pick wins the game, you recieve the confidence points you alotted for that game. In addition, participants choose 2 games to pick against the spread. these games are worth 3 points each. If you choose all confidence games and the 2 spread games correctly, you recieve a bonus of 4 points for that week
4. There will be 5 quarterly winners this year with the playoffs being a quarter. Each quarter victory is worth $25. The overall winner will recieve 65% of the money, 2nd place will get 25% and 3rd place will get 10% of the money.(see "finances" tab on main spreadsheet for prize money breakdown)
5. Picks must be submitted prior to opening kickoff, no exceptions. You are free to submit picks as many times as you want during the week, only the latest set of picks count. Its always wise to send in a set of picks early in the week just in case something comes up toward the end and you dont' get a chance to resubmit. I will accept picks by email if the online form doesn't work or if my site is blocked by firewalls etc.
6. If you fail to submit your picks prior to opening kickoff of a week, you can still submit for the rest of the week. You will lose your "4" confidence pick. If you miss the second game as well, you will lose your "3" confidence, and so on. You can still submit both of your spread picks.
7. Spread picks can be made at any time during the week right up to kick of the game you want to choose (although most people tend to send them in at the same time as the confidence picks)
